Aherns Garage was established in 1927 by Jack Ahern as a garage and service outlet for cars & Trucks. During the following decades it grew from strength to strength becoming Kerry’s Main Bedford & Vauxhall centre. Jacks nephews Mick & John Ahern took over and managed the business during the 80’s until the current generation Pat & Paul Ahern took over in the late nineties. They set about expanding the business and moved from their old premises on Limerick Road in 2005 to a greenfield site and built a state of the art multi brand showrooms on the Tralee Road, Castleisland which is now proudly home to Kerry’s only BMW, OPEL , SEAT & Mazda franchises. Ahern’s also developed a modern drive in/drive out CVRT test centre for light and heavy goods testing at the rear of the site. In recent years Profix accident repairs has been added to the site which is a state of the art crash repair centre making Aherns’s truly your only one stop shop for all your motoring needs in Kerry.
